Commencing as a Linesman with ETSA in 1977, I have worked continuously in the Electrical Supply Industry (ESI) as Linesman and Trainer. 32 years of this time in Training & Assessment, managing apprentices and developing ETD.
Dominique Ashton has over 20 years’ experience in the vocational education industry which holds her in good stead for the Training Manager position. She has held multiple roles in this time from a senior training role, Vocational Education coordinator to learning and development manager for an online RTO.
Commencing with the SECV in 1978 as an Electrical Fitter, I have over 40 years experience within the Electrical Supply Industry, and held numerous positions including Electrical Testing Officer, Sales and Training.
Commencing as an Electrical fitter with the SECV in 1982, I now have over 30 years experience working in the power industry.
Commencing with the SECV in 1983, I have over 35 years experience working across the country in Electricity Supply, Telecommunications, Rail and Mining.
Commencing an Electrical Fitter apprenticeship in 1989 and gaining my A-Grade Electrician certification in 1993, my work experience includes manufacturing switchboards, installation, testing and maintenance of metering installations, compliance, auditing and managing metering services departments.
Starting as an electrical fitter in 2002 and 5 years in the mining industry, I have over 20 years experience in the electrical industry.
